Where we build — from the Atlantic to the Douro

Curated locations along the Vila Nova de Gaia coast and through the heart of the Douro Valley and Vinho Verde wine country.

The Coast

The Vila Nova de Gaia coastline joins forested calm with an open Atlantic. Canidelo, Madalena, Gulpilhares, Valadares and Arcozelo — villages where the ocean is part of daily life. Coastal promenades made for marathon training, a surfing season from March to November, fish restaurants often run by the same families for generations. Crestuma, Lever and Avintes bring the Douro river and the rural quiet of the hinterland. All locations 15–20 minutes from central Porto.

The Douro Valley & Vinho Verde

An hour east of the coast begins the world of terraced vineyards. The Douro Valley — the world’s first demarcated wine region — and the neighbouring Vinho Verde country to the north form a landscape of premium winemaking, Michelin gastronomy, boutique guest houses, and UNESCO-listed views. We build weekend wine-country residences here for Clients for whom the kitchen, the wine and the view from the terrace matter as much as the architecture.
